Although these pages began as "Sweetness, and Light. It is in fact a 'province' of the beloved Web-Nation the "Royal Republic of Sydneyland". It's been around for near 12 or so years in one form or another. Anyway time for a new set of official heraldry.
I think the above does the trick.
Sure there was the totem I considered of the Pope's head impaled on a bloody lance. Also something involving an IRS collector being eaten alive by deranged white mice on Angel dust Crack, and Whiskey.
Still as much fun as those were I think perhaps we'll settle on the above.

On the whole I like it. A lion is traditionally considered a Sun symbol, as well as the symbol of royalty, so that’s good. The cutlass is maybe a teensy bit reminiscent of the Saudi scimitar, that they’re so fond of beheading people with. But perhaps our intentions are different, as in better.

BTW, I have recently been finding examples of political and economic ideas & developments around the world that might reasonably be described as positive, or even good, if you can believe it. I may try linking to or at least describing some of them soon.
The whole hopey-changey thing has given hope a bad name, and indeed in the USA as a whole there isn’t any. But that isn’t necessarily true for all the world. There may even be a few limited & circumscribed regions or communities in the US where a few tiny handfuls of people are actually doing constructive intelligent things; it’s just that the vast majority, plus government, are urgently and enthusiastically shoving their heads ever further into sunless lands.
It should be taken as axiomatic that no positive development can come from capitalism, which resembles nothing so much as something which is copiously extruded from the anus of a sick dog, infested with worms and disease. I hope I may be excused for overpraising it.

I thank you for your thoughtful comments.
However of late I found I just haven't the marbles or energy to properly reply. Though my intentions are good towards your missives. 'Is this the start of going ga-ga?
I'm also sleepy, and annoyed. Well depressed, and somewhat suicidal, but fuck it. I look forward to finding those constructive enclaves you mention.
No prob. Your posts are already full of thought-provoking content. To speak truth, I should probably scale back my own web activity considerably; there’s other stuff I really need to work on. But I will post about a couple or three good things happening in the world; we’ve already covered the negatives of our historical situation pretty thoroughly.
Peace! Love!

Many thanks Comrade, and I look forward to positive posts from you. There 'must' be something good going on 'somewhere'.
