There's a massive flame war over on FB about the hysteria aspects of the woman's revolution against eons of rape murder, and beatings that they had to accept quietly. However,...Due process rationality, and reason usually vanish in hysterias.
The woman's revolt against centuries of oblivious cruelty, and physical abuse is at last here. However aspects of it are without justice. If a man is accused he's guilty.
I remember being accused of being Queer being a near death sentence.
So I'm as sensitive to that as I am to women forced into anguished silence for their whole lives.
If this is going to be done it has to be done right.

I’ll never use FB for anything but flogging my art. Unmoderated discussion forums dealing with religion or politics don’t work. There have to be reasonable rules of debate, typically involving elementary courtesy, clearly set forth and consistently enforced. Otherwise it’s just a battleground for flame wars at best, or at worst a playpen for sociopaths.

You're right of course about Facebook regards any sort of social issues.
Flame wars happen all the time. Mostly when people stray from their bubbles, and are exposed to concepts that horrify them. Far right wanderers come by now, and then, and are stunned to the core that there is a whole other realm that thinks they're evil Nazi fucks,...which they are.
I've visited the republican-Klan-Nazi world, and have been similarly freaked out. Though know better that to annoy he natives. ...no point. Though I have a close friend that's in the Catholic clergy. So I visit that portion of Jesusland from time to time.
Plenty of sin punishment mania over there,...I yanks their chains for the fun of it. I speak their language so I confuse the hell out of them by quoting scriptures that basically calls them heartless shitheads.
True "FB" is handy to get ya work into the hands that needs them. I recommend it for at least that.
Also very happy you're back. Computers usually crap out after two or three years. It's cheaper to get a new one since the cost of fixing them is more.
