"Stoic"

"Smokey the Bear" was forcibly retired after the Republicans sold off all the National Parks to be strip mined. Fortunately he was able to fall back on skills he picked up in the Army.

He's a really good mechanic.

Anyway he works at an auto shop not far from me. Yeah he's sad about the end of the world, and all, but is stoic about it. He tells customers to vote in 2018 to unseat as many of the maniacs as they can. Otherwise he keeps to himself. I hear he's writing some sort of book.

I'll ask him about that when I run into him again.
