What mainly threatens the future of those kids is the extreme economic inequality caused by pure capitalism.
I know you remember that back in the day capitalist media were constantly striving to convince us how much better off we were than people in communist countries. But once the Soviet Union collapsed there was no major example of a communist or socialist society, so they didn’t have to prove shit. So now capitalism can do whatever it wants, which of course is to fuck people as hard as it possibly can. Slavery was a capitalist enterprise.
Funny how nobody ever mentions the obvious fact that capitalism is the cause of homelessness. What dopes we are not to realize this.
