"Pусский"

So I'm sitting in front of the computer wasting what's left of my life. Well not wasting, but using it up in an odd way. Maybe not odd. Back in the day shut-in's, and the elderly would spend forever watching TV. Even developing fantasy relationships with the folks on their screens. Then they'd die. There's a stand up routine in there, but never mind.

What was I going to say? ....right. Cookies or Biscuits as in the Commonwealth.

So I'm sitting here fantasizing unreal things for you, and eating cookies. I happen to look at the bag, and ??!. It 's bleeping Russian! Pусский cookies!! How did 'that' happen. I mean at the market they looked like regular stuff. Stylized images of cookies with pastel colors all over it making you want to pick it up, and enter a realm of peace justice, and no taxes.
Then it turns out to be Russian. Probably made from the blood of political prisoners saw dust, and rat droppings. Still tastes great though, and at $1.25 for a whole bag not bad. However the price should have been a give-away. Nothing safe is 'that' cheap.
I could go on as to how the working or retired poor are fed sugared garbage, but you all already either know or are eating this.
So the point is pay attention to what you buy, and especially what you unmindfully shove down ya gullet.

Addendum:

Part of it is this is an International town. Kinda has been since 1625. You go into any shop there's regular stuff like drain de-clogger foods household items from everywhere on the planet. I bleeping use Portuguese dish detergent, and drink Brazilian orange soda.
I like this. That, and hearing so many languages all the time around me.
Granted Americans from the interior States would freak out, and make racist scenes in every store if they were here.

As I see them do if they just overhear one person speaking another language. YouTube is full of folks doing this. Though if you notice they all look the part of semi-literate pink-slipped Trump voters out to get "their" country back. ...truly never getting that they are not, and never were the only one's here.

One irate 'Merican cursed a woman speaking French,...not even Spanish. Though he may not have understood the difference.
He raged that she should stop speaking "foreign!" ...yeah he said "foreign".
Stereotypes are based to some degree on reality.
Of course this cuts both ways, but there it is.
