The insane and environmentally destructive growth-based capitalist economic model can be jettisoned. Also it is claimed on behalf of this “doughnut” economics that it won’t produce anything like the same levels of inequality. I don’t know if that will prove true, but at least this shows that not all economic thinkers are Randroids, and that viable alternatives *do* exist. In some societies, as capitalism continues to tank, they may even get around to trying them.
What we have is so disastrous even Americans know it now. This is why they elected Trump. If they had been educated or at least more worldly we'd have got someone human. Thing is we all know the game is up. I am somewhat pleased that so many smarty pants, and regular kats out there are planning thinking, and doing shit to bring about a saner way.
I hope to live a bit longer to see how this plays out...I'll hit the streets when the time comes. Granted I'm a bit slower this time 'round. However I'm sure the dear comrades will give me space, and or roll my wheel chair...which they say may be in part of my future.
Actually I'd like one of them scooter chair things they always have commercials for after 3:00am. It's target marketing since retired old fucks like me can't sleep so when not surfing porn or UFO sites we're watching TV.
I plan to deck mine out with Barbie dolls, and Anarchist flags.
