I shouldn't laff I was "New Age" up to the hilt back in the day. My being a recovering Catholic Buddhist probably had a lot to do with that. I used to play all that tinkly tinkly music on my radio program, and go on about our spirit selves.

Picture this I'm hanging on to my mattress trying not to be lifted up into the air by my angelic, and or demonic self. I'm holding on while storm winds are rattling the dishes. Pots, and pans'n shit crashing to the floor.

Yeah, I think our spirit selves are real. I’m not a materialist any more. My current working hypothesis is that reincarnation is probably for real. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean it’s all tinkly bells. As one thinker put it, we’re here to learn & grow: which means to do all things, be all things, and suffer all things. That doesn’t just mean all things warm and fuzzy; it means ALL things, which is really kind of a bitch when you think about it. I think I’ll take a nap.
Oh, and I’ll remember that about telling them I’m drunk, should the occasion arise.
