"George Jetson in the 'REAL' 21st Century"

I can see poor ol'George now. Living in a rented tent with hundreds of other Homeless. This on the former parking lots of Spacely Sprockets. He also foolishly had a DNA test that found he was actually Black Jewish Queer, and with a touch of Neptunian.

Jane the racist bitch divorced him behind that. She was always such a bigoted Earther.

"Sprockets" was sold to the Koreans who then dismantled the plant, and sent it to Mars because slavery is legal there,...no wages or insurance!

George is eating out of dumpsters.

He also sold both his kidney's, and his right liver to pay the rent on his tent. At this rate he won't be able to afford to be Homeless much longer. Next stop the fast food meat gulag,...they say it's painless.

However the minimum wage butchers use the morphine for themselves, and chop up their clients awake.

His daughter Judy is sucking Venusian cock, and selling home made 'Speedballs" to tourists from the Alaska Republic. All this to feed her six cloned kids. She was going to sell them, but them anti-slavery kooks had the laws changed.

His son Elroy selling both his ass, and his 3D printed copies of the 'Mona Lisa", and "Guernica" on the street to pay for his sex change. He's also a part time terrorist. Mostly  blowing up convents, and Buddhist whore houses.

His wife Jane married Mr. Spacely who got insanely rich from the sale of his factory.

An accurate 21st century story.

Get a load of this. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has stated on national (UK) television that Labour, if elected, will purchase 8,000 homes to house the homeless. He says that the level of homelessness is a disgrace to the nation. This autumn the number of those “sleeping rough” soared to 4,751.

In San Francisco alone, last year there were 7,499 homeless people; that’s about one percent of the population. In this country there are people doing prison time for feeding the homeless.

Can you even *imagine* an American politician of any prominence proposing this rational & perfectly feasible idea? Yet you see what is possible in a country where sanity and compassion exist.

I read the piece. I was amazed. it's been so long since I've seen sanity, and compassion from the political class I was frankly amazed. Less than 5k Homeless moved them to this?! We have several millions overt on the streets or staying with family or friend,...after with then they hits the streets.

Some commit small crimes to get six months in jail just to get in out of the cold, and to eat regular. That is those not outright busted just for being on the street, and not doing crimes at all.

So the UK has had enough of this...Bless them.

This will NEVER happen here no matter which flavor is in charge. Btw I read that seniors like myself are getting kicked out of senior care housing because they can't afford the cyclic increases.

They're now killing themselves.

I read how Sheriffs came to drag out one old woman only to find her dead.

She decided to end with dignity. Another elder woman froze to death on the street when they threw her out for being $300. bucks short on the rent at her care facility.

Seems she lived too long, and her family stopped paying.

So she used her Social Security,...all of it to stay. Not enough. She was one month short, but that was enough to kick her out.

I'm not letting that happen to me,...again. I'll take the dignity rout.

It's the American way.

I too was astonished. But really, Corbyn is basically just a traditional Labour politician - something of a throwback in this day and age. Our amazement is a sign of how extraordinarily far our country has fallen. For of course you’re right - it will *never* happen here. We’re that fucked.

By doubling down on capitalism to the exclusion of all else, our country has chosen the way of ruin; it has chosen the way of cruelty.

BTW, I read recently that in Costa Rica, a third world country, life expectancy is now higher than in the USA. Of course they have no military, and *do* have national health care.
