I try not to read any political crap. It's literally bad for my health. However this is no longer possible. The damned stuff is on comic book blogs now.
Which is where I just found out that only "12%" of the country supports the GOP Health Bill.
As a TV liberal trouble maker said:
"More people would rather be run over by a car than see this Bill pass."
Reminds me of some other numbers. In 2015 only 9% of the population supported any kind of U.S. politician. However 15% supported Fidel Castro. Eh,...71% support Batman whom we assume is a fictional person.

Yeah me too!!
Well okay so Fidel, and Che' did a bit of non-judicial execution stuff for a while there, and Batman beats the shit out of folks in alleys.
Hey com'on nobody's perfect. Besides they got the damned job done!
The prob, I think, is that socialism is evidently difficult to disentangle from Marxism, which has repeatedly proven itself to be a murderous ideology. It's basically a heresy on Christianity in which the dictatorship of the proletariat takes the place of the Kingdom of Heaven - far too millenarian for my taste. I say we oughta be able to have socialism Lite, like in Scandinavia.
And yeah, Batman does have proto-fascist vigilantist tendencies, when taken seriously. That's why I prefer Adam West's spoofy approach to the Boy Wonder's superhero sugar daddy.
