I met him once, when I was seven. A family friend was a TV writer, and I suppose he had come to the latter's house to talk script or something, I don't really know. I met him there. I don't remember what he looked like; what I remember is that he was extremely tall, and had a very deep, resonant voice - very impressive. I was awestruck, as you can imagine. I expect I was a googly-eyed little starstruck kid.
