The long range forecast for the summer in the Northeast is less extreme heat that in recent years. This because of rain clouds, and storms. Which btw is happening as I post. Thunder sheets of rain...which stop instantly...the sun peeks then darkness, and again hard sheets of rain.
Which I was caught in while going out to price peaches. I mean it. When did peaches become a luxury?
The price seems to go up by the day. Being on a retired budget one seriously notices this. What once bought a whole bag full now gets you either a single peach or at best three small rather questionably soft specimens.
In any case the pattern for the summer weather seems to be setting in place. Sandals, and rain hats are the summer uniform it seems.
