"New Leader"

Germany is the new leader of the free world. This after the United States in an act of profound selfish stupidity relinquished the role. As such I've read a few short pieces about how the Germans themselves feel about this. The notion still isn't common place as it isn't here. However as it becomes more apparent expect serious debates on both sides of the Atlantic. Btw this above was the first version of the post WW2 German flag considered. This before they, under pressure from the U.S., went with the traditional black gold red tri-color. Perhaps in their new position they'll go back to this.

Well that or the just above flag that was going to be used by those that tried to blow Hitler up in 1944. The idea was to off that maniac declare a new government,...with the above black flag. Then try to cut deals with everybody that was blasting the shit out of them.

Um might have taken more that a new flag to get the allies especially the Russians to chill. Still it would have been a start if it had worked out.
