This is all very nicey-nicey, but it still cannot camouflage the disgust many of us had when we learned that the Gestapo New York Police illegally shook you down on your way home from the local library.
More that a few of us are still reeling from that incident.
Maybe they should accost this guy drawing on the sidewalk, which I am sure is totally illegal. Maybe even a capital offense these days?

I know you're angry on my behalf, but please chill.

It is what it is.

I find I'm having aftershocks.

This may be similar to what an assault victim goes through.

Don't wish to play the victim. Things are what they are.

I just heard the police shot a man few blocks from me,...unarmed of course. Dead.

This was about the time I was done by the cops. So something was in the air. They were trigger happy. It happens.

I also have the practical issue of having to return those library books,...which I couldn't can't read. I can't leave my home.

Maybe in a few more days or a week.

"Exposing as a mystification the mixture of baseness and stupidity that creates the astonishing complicity of both victims and perpetrators. Finally, turning thought into something aggressive, active and affirmative. Creating free men, that is to say men who do not confuse the aims of culture with the benefit of the State, morality or religion."

I wish you could enjoy those books. Whitman and Emerson are squarely in the alternative tradition of American thought - the one which, had we followed it, we would not now be a police state.

Emerson may well be America's only philosopher of note. Likewise, Whitman is the closest we will ever come to a genuine poet laureate. This is hardly "alternative"!
This is what in fact should be main stream American experience uniting us with the great global historical convention.
Oh well, we're on the road to hell anyway so why disturb the sleepers. America more than any other country in the world deserves what it's getting.

The American "experiment" continues.

...though it consistently kills people in the lab.

I was going to try to go out today.

However I became ill nauseous pain,...like flu.

I think I've progressed to what's unofficially called stage three shut-in or home bound.

The above are symptoms.

I was told there was danger of this.

The incident may have been with other things a trigger.

We'll see.

Bummer! Would it maybe help if you went out with some friends?

Some have offered to walk me places.

However as with being a victim I don't wish the cripple role either.

I'll figure something out.

I see what you mean. Maybe it would provide some relief to shoot small rockets at passing cops and other annoying passers by from your handiest window. I know that would certainly make me feel better.
