May I suggest we devote some time to designing the premises and composing the bylaws of a Residence Library for Retired Artistic Gentlemen? It seems to me there is a crying need for such an invaluable institution.
I propose that it be centered around the Library and its studious & contemplative activities. The modest yet handsome residence chambers will be discreetly located upstairs in a quiet portion of the building.
That residents may benefit from the consolations of religion, there shall be a Temple of the Beautiful Boy, conceived somewhat along the lines of a Masonic Temple, but furnished with far more interesting artifacts and appurtenances.
I also propose a small but exquisite jewel box theatre - plush red velvet seats - for regular chamber music concerts and the occasional private fashion show.
What say you - am I thinking along the right lines here, or am I daft?
Ah thanks about the photo of Charlie. This from his now vanished youth. Oh how brief is beauty. This makes it just all the more sacred.
I did do some work on it. As always it's to know when to stop.
As for the R.L.R.A.G. project I think work should begin at once.
